Who Are We?

Henfield Hall has been providing a venue in the village for our local community for over 50 years. We host a wide range of events from groups of friends sewing together, through theatre productions to live comics and arts events, with bar facilities.

The Role

Following on from a very successful recruitment from this site last year, we are now looking for further trustees to join the team -  if you are interested in helping to preserve the unique community character of Henfield this could be for you!

Availability

Trustee meetings are held monthly at the hall, 5 hours per month. In addition a trustee normally sits on a subcommittee and importantly works behind the scenes to ensure good governance, operational stability etc., dependent on their expertise and specific role

Monthly meeting day currently Monday evenings but will be subject to change if majority of trustees wish.

We are now looking for dynamic new trustees with flexibility and a range of skills to join our team -  if you are interested in helping to preserve the unique community character of Henfield this could be for you!

What skills do I need?

Experience

Currently we are particularly looking for someone with a financial background to work with our bookkeeper, and someone with experience in managing facilities. Experience in the charity sector would be welcomed.

Expressions of interest and further information can be obtained in the first instance from [email protected]

Location

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
