Who Are We?
We are a small friendly group of volunteers who try to repair any electrical/textile/metal/wooden items to save them from going to landfill and help reduce waste. We also have a cafe selling home made cakes, tea, coffee and a sharpening service for tools/ gardening tools etc and kitchen knives.
The Role
Full training will be given. We sharpen all sorts of items from kitchen knives to garden implements. There is a team of 3 sharpeners at the moment who have been with us since the start of our Repair Cafe.
You may know a little about sharpening items but if not we will train you.
What skills do I need?
Have good manual skills and be fully able to use your hands. We do have a lot of tools to help speed up the sharpening process as it is a very popular service.

Our Repair Cafe runs every 3rd Saturday of the Month from 2pm-4pm in Partridge Green Village Hall. We run every month Jan-Nov but not in December.
