We are looking for volunteer drivers to join our team to collect people and take them to our group for an evenings entertainment.

On the third Monday of each month we have a team of drivers collecting members from their homes and take them to Yew Tree Resource Centre in Romford for an enjoyable evening's entertainment.

Every month is different, we have speakers, singers musicians, quizzes and we also play domino bingo.

We also attend the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch for their audio described performances and once a year we hold a barbecue.

What skills do I need?

What are they looking for?

We are looking for someone who likes to drive, who is friendly and can make our service users feel welcomed and at ease.

Practical Considerations

A clean driving licence is required. Some experience of people with sight loss would be beneficial.

As this involves use of your own vehicle a 4 or 5 door car would be needed, please as some of our service users have mobility issues. 

Full training and an induction will be provided.
