The Camrose Centre is a fantastic local charity supporting those who are homeless or vulnerably housed.
We are now open on Thursdays & require volunteers to join our friendly team.
We enjoy making The Camrose Centre a safe place for our clients to get off the streets, enjoy a meal and to meet others.
Clients can receive practical support & a non-judgemental service.
A smile and a
sense of humour goes a long way in our organisation.
There are no specific skills required but volunteers must be over 18 & willing to join in all aspects of our service including setting up tables & chairs, signing in clients, making up food packs, getting shower kits together, talking and even more listening!
There are stairs to our store cupboards.
If
you are willing to cook a simple meal for up to 15 people that would be great. Shift time is 09:30 –
