Key to Joy, a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and neurodiversity, is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Summer Fair on Saturday 22nd August 2026 a huge success. This year’s event will be bigger than ever, taking place at our new location alongside Fareham Hockey Club on the community playing field near Henry Cort School. We’re hoping to attract over 1,000 visitors from the local community to enjoy the day and help raise vital funds for our members and the charity.
To make this ambitious event possible, we are seeking volunteers to help between 8am and 6pm. You’re welcome to volunteer for the full day or just a two-hour slot, any support makes a real difference. Tasks include setting up and packing away, manning stalls, helping with car parking, supporting visitors on site, emptying bins, collecting rubbish, assisting with bucket collections, supervising the lost child point, and directing people to facilities such as first aid and toilets.
We are also looking for support with donations for our raffle and tombola, which are key highlights of the event. If you or a business you know can donate prizes such as vouchers, gifts, products, services, or other items, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Your time, generosity, and community spirit will directly help us continue supporting local adults with learning disabilities, providing opportunities that build confidence, independence, and wellbeing.
If you are able to help, please register your in. Thank you for helping us bring joy to our community.
A willingness to get involved!
