The Hythe & District Voluntary Car Group is part of Hampshire County Council's Good Neighbours Network.  We provide support to the local community by offering a door-to-door transport service for adults in the Waterside area for medical appointments - doctors, hospital, dentist, physio, etc.  

By volunteering your time and vehicle, you will be providing a vital service to adults in our community.  One of our Coordinator's will contact you on a weekly basis to confirm your availability for the following week.  Once the Coordinator has your availability they will send you your drives for the week.  We will reimburse you 50p / mile, on a monthly basis.

We pick up clients in Hythe, Dibden, Dibden Purlieu, Hardley, Holbury, Marchwood, Beaulieu, East Boldre and Culverly.

We welcome applications from drivers who hold a full UK driving licence and have an insured, road worthy vehicle.
