Hordle Volunteer Driver Group provide volunteer drivers to take clients from Tiptoe, Hordle and Everton to their medical appointments at hospitals, Doctors Surgeries, Dentist, Opticians etc. when the client is unable to access public transport.
What skills do I need?
Clients contact the coordinator by telephone using an 0835 number and the coordinator then arranges a driver to get the client to their appointment using an online booking system.
This is a share role and volunteers are currently working one day a week between 09:00 and 14:00 hrs.
Training will be given but some knowledge of using mobile phone and computer would be useful.
Location
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
