Treasurer

As Treasurer, you’ll help us keep on top of the hall’s finances and make sure our money is being managed responsibly. This includes:

• Keeping an eye on income and expenditure
• Maintaining straightforward financial records
• Checking payments and invoices
• Preparing simple financial reports for committee meetings
• Helping with budgeting and financial planning
• Working with the committee to decide how we can best invest in and improve the hall
• Helping us make sure we meet our charity and financial responsibilities
• Ensuring the cleaners are paid accurately and on fortnightly

Don't worry – you don't need to be an accountant! We’re looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy and reasonably comfortable with numbers. A willingness to learn is just as important as previous experience

This role can be carried out predominantly at home in your free time with some meetings taking place at Hill Rise Hall RG22 4JZ

What skills do I need?

You don't need to be an accountant! We're looking for someone who is good with numbers, organised, trustworthy and comfortable with basic financial tasks. Full support will be provided, and you'll be joining a friendly committee working together to keep Hill Rise Hall thriving.

Our Current treasurer is willing to offer any training that may be required.
