Good head for numbers? Few hours a month to spare? Interested in the concept of 'Men's Sheds'?
The Hook Shed need a new Treasurer, to replace our previous treasurer who has been in the role for 5 years. The Treasurer will take responsibility for guiding and advising the committee in relation to budgets, accounts and financial statements, coupled with supporting the financial aspects of our strategic development. Ideally, we would like someone with a good understanding of accounting procedures, with the financial qualifications or experience to contribute effectively to the organisation at this crucial stage in our journey. Our shed has been built, signing the lease is imminent and soon the Hook Shed will be full of members from the community working on their own projects, community projects or having a chat over a cup of tea.
The time commitment is a few hours a month including regular committee meetings which are held in the evenings.
The ideal volunteer for this role will:

Most work can be done from home but will need to be able to attend committee meetings in the Hook area.
