Are you organised, proactive, and enjoy working with numbers? 4th Basingstoke Scouts are looking for a Treasurer to join the team. As part of the Trustee team, you’ll be part of a team working together to keep Scouts safe and thriving.

The role involves, overseeing the payment of subs, gift aid, budgeting, managing the group volunteers expenses and putting together basic financial reports.

You'll meet as a Trustee Board a 4- 5 times a year, including an AGM.

Oh, and it’s fine if you’ve not been a Trustee before. We’ll support you, making sure you learn everything you need to know, as you go, in this flexible role.

What skills do I need?

Highly numerate with Excel skills, some accounts/finance experience would be great but you do not need to be an Accountant.

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.

This role will be mainly remote working from home and you will need access to a laptop or computer. There will be approximately 4-5 in person meetings a year including the AGM. These take part in the Winklebury area of Basingstoke.
