Monday Memories Group - Fair Oak

Coming Soon - Monday Memories Group for anyone living with Dementia, Alzhiemer's, or memory loss and their loved ones. Also for anyone who is lonely and isolated. At the sessions, we will ensure everyone is welcomed and offered refreshments. We will also have:
- Reminiscing Sessions
- Activities
- Live Entertainment
- Carers Support Session
- and so much more
We are looking for volunteers to help run the group and its activities, ensure a warm welcome is given and that all those attend enjoy the session each time they come.
Training will be provided in person and we offer additional dementia training on an ongoing basis.
What skills do I need?
- Good communicator
- Happy talking to older people who may sometimes forget what was said
- Patient and understanding to the needs of older people
- Are able to commit on a Wednesday afternoon
- Be willing to attend a dementia friends training session
- Be able to introduce new subjects and ideas for sessions
- To ensure confidentiality is maintained
