Come and be part of something positive!

Low Level Circuits is an inclusive weekly session on Saturday afternoons for adults with learning disabilities — a friendly, supportive space where people can get active, build confidence, make friends and have fun.

Led by our experienced coaches and Active LD team, volunteers help bring the session to life by joining in, connecting with participants and making sure everyone feels welcome and included.

Our group is sociable, friendly and full of energy. Exercise is definitely more fun when you do it together — and we think it's impossible to leave a Low Level Circuits session without feeling a little happier!

Volunteers join a one weekend in four rota, with flexibility to adjust this around your studies and other commitments.

What skills do I need?

Could this be you?

Are you kind, friendly, thoughtful and a team player? Do you enjoy meeting people and want to make a difference? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

This role is a great opportunity for students aged 16+ looking to gain experience for future careers in healthcare, social care, teaching, sport or other people-focused professions. It can also be a great way to build experience towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award.

No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm, a willingness to get involved and a genuine interest in people. All new volunteers are invited to come along to a taster session before getting started, and our volunteers are fully supported by the Active LD team throughout.

We're proud to see both participants and volunteers grow in confidence, skills and friendships through our Low Level Circuits sessions.
