Would you like to help people in our community to improve their English language skills through fun arts and crafts activities?

We are looking for creative volunteers to run arts and crafts sessions from 9.45am to 12.30pm every Thursday at the Mayfield Community Centre in Farnborough. You will help students with arts and crafts activities whilst engaging with them in English speaking practice.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you are experienced in:

• Painting
• Drawing
• Card making
• Origami
• Teaching general crafts

Volunteers will be supported at each class by each other and a qualified tutor. No preparation will be necessary.

Free refreshments are provided for both volunteers and participants

What skills do I need?

Skills required include:-

• Creative
• Arts and crafts experience such as sewing, painting, knitting etc.
• Ability to use a sewing machine would be particularly welcome
• Friendly and outgoing
• Reliable
• Team player
• Good communication skills 
• Good people skills

Other nationalities with Entry 3 English are also welcome to volunteer.
