The Bordon and Whitehill Voluntary Car Service helps local people by collecting their prescriptions, taking them to hospital, clinics, opticians, dentist and doctors appointments.
We are now short of a Coordinator and need one or two to help take the calls and arrange with our Drivers.
The Coordinator takes calls at home, Monday to Friday in working hours. The volunteer would work one week a month and we work around holidays, etc. The Coordinator does not have to stay in all day, but can use an answer phone and then call clients later.
The volunteer will use the Voluntary Car Service mobile phone.
What skills do I need?
- Good telephone manner
- Listening skills and an organised administrative mind
- Ability to use your initiative
- Preferably someone living locally to Bordon/Whitehill or someone who is prepared to get to know the area well

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
