Admin Support Volunteers

Outline of the role

You do not need to have been a Volunteer previously or live in Hampshire to apply for this role. The role can be carried out remotely working from home.

Can you offer a few hours per week to help older people across Hampshire? Would you like to join a friendly, dedicated team? Are you looking for a role where you can work from home, as well as out in your local community? If yes, please read on.

You will be supporting with a range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, responding to client enquiries over the phone and sometimes by email, logging enquiries on our Charity Log (client management) system and car.

What skills do I need?

To be an Admin Support Volunteer, we are looking for someone who is:

• An excellent communicator, both in writing and orally (over the phone)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Car driver and use of own vehicle (mileage will be paid at 45p a mile)
• Good IT skills – email; using the internet; Microsoft Office (Word; Excel)
• Understanding
• Friendly
• Works well both as part of a team and autonomously
