We are looking for members of our community to help with the work we do with young people. As a youth work volunteer, you will support the youth workers in facilitating good quality activities and engagement for young people in the area. Opportunities range from helping cook snacks for young people to supporting young people by providing a listen ear and being a good role model. You might also be helping with creative arts, music or sports. It is vital that you have a good sense of humour, that you have an open mind and are willing to try to understand the influences affecting young people during adolescence. Full training and support will be given in this post. You will need a full DBS (a police check) and we can help you apply if you are the right candidate for the role.

Working with young people is very rewarding and a great way of ‘giving back’ to our local community. You’ll be working with a small friendly team and there will be opportunities to train and socialise with the team too.
