If you answered yes to all of these then our Pharmacy team would love to meet you. We are looking for volunteers to assist in the smooth running of the department, supporting the stores department. 

The Pharmacy Department is at the front of healthcare delivery with a strong focus on medicines management and innovative pharmaceutical practice.

Being part of the pharmacy team, you would help to deliver a great service across the hospital by.

  • giving you experience of using hospital systems,
  • a chance to develop your communications skills with staff and patients
  • exposure to a busy NHS Pharmacy.

If you have a positive attitude then this could be the role for you

What skills do I need?

·       Ability to manage own workload

·       Ability to accurately follow instructions

·       Ability to communicate information effectively with a range of people within the Pharmacy Department

·       Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods of time against a background of interruptions

·       Able to learn new tasks and skills

·       Attention to detail

·       Pleasant personality – able to work effectively under pressure

·       Working within Standard Operating Procedures

·       Good numerical skills

·       Flexible and responsive to needs of the role

Physically fit – standing for long periods of time
