We are looking for a variety of people and skills to help us with our Thaxted Festival season. Running over 4 weekends in June/July we wish to extend our friendly volunteer teams who make sure the Festival runs smoothly.  If you have a passion for music, performance and organising we would love to hear from you!

1. Box office volunteers: We need someone to work for two hours each Friday morning in our office from May to July to assist the Festival Administrator in the face-to-face ticket sales/printing tickets etc. Computer skills essential; training on the operation of our ticketing system will be given. 

2. Logistics volunteers: We have a valued team of people who help set up the venue (seating, staging etc) in advance of the concerts, and others who monitor the car park and steward/usher at each concert.

3. Sound and Lighting volunteer: If you have an interest or experience in Lighting/Sound we would like to hear from you. Using the Festival’s equipment the team work together to enhance the audience experience for performances.

4. Artist liaison volunteers: We are looking to expand our small team of volunteers who welcome the Musicians and support them through rehearsals and performances.

5. Promotions Advisor: The Festival team are looking for an experienced Marketing or PR expert to advise on their Marketing and PR plans.

All volunteers are welcome to enjoy the concerts
