The Chelmsford Takeover is back (11th April 2026)—our annual, free, city-wide cosplay spectacular taking over Chelmsford city centre in support of Little Havens Children’s Hospice. We’re looking for up to 50 friendly volunteers to help make the magic happen by supporting bucket collections on the day.

This is a fun, family-friendly opportunity to be part of an unforgettable event filled with TV and film characters, show cars, themed activities, and an incredible community atmosphere—all while raising vital funds for an amazing cause.

What’s involved?

Helping with bucket collections around Chelmsford city centre

Chatting with the public and soaking up the cosplay vibes

Choosing a 2-hour slot that suits you

10am-12pm - FULL
12pm-2pm - Available
2pm-4pm - Available
4pm-5pm - Available (1 hour slot)
