We are seeking a volunteer who is comfortable carrying out basic installation tasks to help us securely fit large whiteboards in GP practices. You will visit different practices, liaise with Practice Managers to identify the best location, and safely install the boards.

This is a short-term, one-off project and a great opportunity to make a practical contribution to supporting local healthcare teams.

Ideally you would need your own drill, but fixings will be provided

What skills do I need?

  • Basic DIY / handyman skills — competent and comfortable using a power drill.
  • Ability to work independently — visiting different practices without supervision.
  • Good communication skills — liaising confidently with Practice Managers to agree on locations, days and times.
  • Reliability and timekeeping — turning up as agreed and completing the short-term project.
  • Problem-solving — identifying the best, safest location for each board.
  • Attention to detail — ensuring boards are fitted securely and safely.
  • Willingness to travel between local practices (expenses reimbursed).

Location

This opportunity has no specific location e.g. can be carried out anywhere.
