Help run activities and support other volunteersat regular Brownie unit (group) meetings with girls aged 7-10. These meetings are run by volunteer teams, usually made up of adult leaders, helpers and young leaders who work together to plan and deliver awesome activities for girls. If you\'re enthusiastic about giving girls opportunities for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure, you\'ll make a great unit helper.

Option to become a Brownie Leader.
What you’ll be doing as unit helper

  • Be an extra pair of hands to help make unit meetings happen.
  • Work with other volunteers to help girls get involved in activities, earn badges and awards – and celebrate when they achieve them!
  • Together with other volunteers, run fantastic activities that inspire girls, whilst helping to keep everyone safe.
  • You might get to go on planned sleepovers, events, trips or adventures!
  • Learn new things, make new friends, and demonstrate our values of caring, challenging, empowering, inclusive, fun and inspiring in all you do.

What skills do I need?

There are no specific skills required - we welcome volunteers from all back grounds and experiences. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm!

Friendly, willing to learn and reliable are all qualities of a great unit helper.
