Urban Trailblazer CIC is looking for someone with experience in gardening or horticulture to support our training programmes for young adults (ages 14–25).
We run hands-on projects teaching young people how to grow food, look after plants, and gain confidence through practical skills. We also link our work to the AQA Unit Award Scheme, giving participants a pathway to recognised certificates.
The role:
- Lead or co-lead small group sessions (gardening workshops, allotment projects, container planting).
- Share your knowledge in an accessible way, with hands-on demonstrations.
- Help participants work towards small, achievable gardening projects.
Location: West London (including near Boston Manor Station)
Commitment: Flexible – occasional sessions, or more regular involvement if available.
Reward: Be part of a project that changes lives, helping young people gain skills, certification, and confidence. Will pay as well.
