1. Café & Surplus Food Support

    Customer Service: Serve drinks and cakes, welcome visitors.

    Stocking & Sales: Display and stock surplus food items; handle cash transactions for sales.

    Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and basic food safety in the café and food area.

2. General Administration (Flexible)

    Communication: Manage incoming emails and phone calls.

    Operations Support: Monitor and record stock levels for reordering.

    Filing & Research: Organize documents; assist in researching funding sources and fundraising event preparation.

3. Volunteer Driver (Driving Licence Required)

    Food Collection: Use own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile) to safely collect donated food from local sources (e.g., supermarkets).

    Logistics: Coordinate collection times and ensure prompt, safe delivery back to the location.

    Loading: Assist with light lifting and moving of food crates/boxes.

Training: Full induction and training for all tasks, including basic food hygiene, barista training & experience and admin procedures.
