Digital Communications Volunteer

The Digital Communications Volunteer supports the promotion and awareness of bereavement services through a range of digital communication channels. Working closely with the Operations Team, the volunteer helps create engaging and sensitive content that informs, supports and connects bereaved individuals, families, volunteers and the wider community.

Practical Considerations

• 4 flexible hours a week 
• Remote working and attending bi monthly meeting online.

Support Disabled

Our Project Lead over see's all the Volunteer Inductions and 1:1 communications with Volunteers, to support ongoing practical needs/ provisions in place. Grief Play café is on one level with accessibility to all areas. Our Choir is on the ground floor of local Community Centre. Adjusted communications and inclusive approach to each role.

What skills do I need?

•  A passion for our charity’s purpose
•  Knowledge of different social media platforms
•  Knowledge of WordPress
•  Confidence in using a variety of communication systems effectively 
•  Ability to relate to people
•  Able to communicate effectively in a variety of ways
•  Excellent organisational skills
•  Be able to be part of a team
•  Excellent time management and managing competing priorities
•  Communication Skills.
