The Bluebell Railway is one of the UK’s leading heritage railways, dedicated to preserving the past for future generations. A vital part of this work is entertaing and informing the Railway's visitors in our Museums and Archive.

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our teams that run the exiting museums and our nationally important archive.

These are ongoing roles and some can be done partly from home. When and how much you volunteer is very flexible.

What skills do I need?

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have an interest in any of the following:

•  Front of house at our Museum on platform 1
•  Back room working keeping our records and looking after our collections
•  Care for our collections
•  Maintenance of our museums repairing and developing our displays
•  Caring for and developing our archive.

For some of the roles a knowledge of railways and their history is needed but for most it is not.
