Wibsey Community Garden is Just over 2 acre site growing fruit, veg, salad and flowers for the benefit of the local community.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to work onsite helping with growing and maintenance of the site.
The role can involve: - Gardening work, including planting seeds, potting on, planting out, weeding and harvesting. All gardening is done using organic methods. - Maintenance work, including digging, mowing, basic woodwork, painting and watering - Manual handling - Use of hand and power tools with training
No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to try and learn new skills.
The role will involve working both outdoors and undercover in all weather.
