Crag Road Drop-In is an established friendly, safe place for the past 18 years. It is open every Friday 1.00 - 3.00 pm in the rear of the Crag Rd Methodist Church. Volunteers offer a welcome and informal conversation with a cup of tea/coffee, and a snack in a caring, listening, non-judgemental space.
Essential: - Welcoming, Caring and compassionate nature - Listening skills - Reliable and trustworthy - Non-judgemental and respectful of other cultures and beliefs. - Excellent personal boundaries -Able to work within a team – Ability to make conversation with others Desirable:. - An awareness or understanding of vulnerability, mental ill health and the impacts of social isolation.
