Tree Planting Volunteer (Tree Warden Programme)

As a Tree Planting Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Blackpool’s fight against climate change. By helping to plant and care for trees across local parks and green spaces, you’ll contribute to a natural carbon offset solution while enhancing habitats for wildlife and creating greener, healthier places for the community to enjoy.

This is a seasonal role, with planting projects taking place throughout autumn and winter. No prior experience is needed—full training and all equipment will be provided.

What you’ll be doing:

• Planting young trees and helping them get established
• Using basic tools such as spades safely and effectively
• Working as part of a friendly team outdoors in all weather
• Supporting the improvement of local green spaces for people and wildlife
