We are looking for an experienced, or trained teaching assistant to help some of our children whose parents have brought them out of main stream school due to bullying.
We also have reading and writing and craft teaching assistants at the moment that needs with our program to help Autistic children with their learning.
This role could be perfect for a retired teaching assistant who is looking to help with children struggling with bullying in mainstream schools
What skills do I need?
Empathy for children with learning disabilities and children that have been in a bullying environment
To be able to organize activities that help children to learn through play or crafts and song
In older children - assessing when exams are achievable and if extra lessons are needed from Rhonda and inform CEO if counselling is needed at certain times for the wellbeing of a child.
To keep in constant contact with CEO and Counsellor on the child's progress and wellbeing along with other teachers involved
