Are you keen to get your hands in the soil? Want to learn about growing organic food and flowers at scale?
Community volunteering sessions at Sitopia Farm are a fantastic way to learn about growing food and flowers in harmony with nature. Sessions run on Thursdays year round.
It’s physical but satisfying work involving a range of activities but often including: shovelling compost and woodchip, transplanting, harvesting, weeding and more - all surrounded by beautiful trees, birdsong and other wonderful volunteers! To find out more and sign up for an induction - Please register you interest.
No experience is necessary – in fact we very much welcome people who are new to growing. A keen interest in food, farming and being outdoors is a must.
Any new volunteers need to attend an induction session before you volunteer with us which happens once a month.
We really welcome people from a diversity of backgrounds and walks of life but at this early stage we’re not equipped to work with vulnerable adults or those requiring special support. You must be 18 years or over to volunteer.
