Volunteer Van Assistant

Stonepillow has a large retail warehouse and Restore shop on Terminus Road in Chichester; selling predominantly furniture, white goods and electrical products, run with the assistance of clients and other volunteers.
We are looking for a volunteer to join our friendly team at the warehouse to help with collecting donations and delivering purchased items. The role will include going out in the van and assisting the driver with heavy lifting.
This is a great opportunity for a person who is planning on going back to work or looking to new career choice and getting new experiences. All necessary induction and training will be provided.
What skills do I need?
This role involves heavy lifting.
No previous experience necessary.

We are very flexible and welcome any volunteers who are happy to devote as little as one morning or afternoon (morning 9.00-13.00 and afternoon 12.30 – 17.00) a week
Our vans operate Monday to Friday.
