Are you passionate about bikes and eager to make a difference in your community? Join our team as a Bike Workshop Volunteer!
This role involves supporting the Chichester Bike Project by assisting in our workshop with bike maintenance, repairs, and customer service, all while helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with bike maintenance and repairs under the guidance of experienced Bike Workshop Manager.
- Help to organise and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the workshop, including restocking supplies and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Engage with and support other volunteers
What skills do I need?
- A passion for cycling and enthusiasm for bike mechanics (no prior experience necessary, as training is provided).
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
