Welcomers meet and greet visitors and worshippers to our Cathedral. Our Welcomers are many visitors' first contact with the Cathedral - so they fulfil an invaluable role. We are seeking people with a welcoming manner and helpful attitude to join our team and help to make everyone's visit to our Cathedral the best that it can be.
What skills do I need?
You will need to have a welcoming manner and helpful attitude and be mobile and able to stand for an hour or more. Full training is given and you work in pairs and as part of a larger team of volunteers. The minimum commitment for Cathedral Welcomers is two hours per month.
